Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are applied to the surface of the skin. We use medical-grade products and depending on the depth of the peel, they penetrate into the layers of the skin in order to provoke a response which will promote new skin cells and repair the skin, therefore improving the appearance of the skin and its integrity.
There is an improvement in skin texture, pigmentation reduction and structure in the dermis.
Your skin journey with these treatments will be monitored and reviewed regularly to ensure it remains suitable and you are happy with your results, this will be with the Observ 520x and through contact.
We offer a variety of peel solutions to treat different skin conditions and at different depths and strengths from very superficial to medium depth.
Your peel will be discussed and chosen during your consultation and will depend on varying lifestyle factors.
Sometimes, skin preparation is required at least 2 weeks prior to your peel, and continued after this will be discussed in your consultation.
It may be that it is recommended in order to achieve maximum results, or it may be a requirement due to your skin type.

Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE can improve your skins appearance and texture with little to no downtime. It involves a cocktail of salicylic, glycolic and lactic acid (AHA's & BHA's) to decongest the skin and brighten it.
It is suitable for all skin types (apart from broken, very dry skin).
It will give us instantly glowing skin to remove blemishes and improve pigmentation.
No skin preparation is required.

Using a variation of glycolic, mandelic and citric AHA's from the NEOSTRATA medical peel range.

NEOSTRATA ProSystem Retinol Peel - Using a 3% retinol strength (Vitamin A) this peel works wonders at reducing wrinkles, blemishes and firming the skin by boosting collagen and speeding up cell turnover, causing a natural exfoliation and pushing through new and fresh skin cells.
MESOESTETIC - A range of different strengths and depths targeted at specific skin concerns, medical-grade peels.

Skin preparation is recommended 2 weeks prior.
The products are included as complimentary (additional price for Retinol peel) when booked as a course and can be continued post peels, this will prepare your skin for the chemical peels and help maintain results.

Downtime is minimal, redness is expected immediately but should wear off after an hour or so. There may be some light flaking a few days later
